Operational Precautions for the Five-Head Rebar Bending Machine

Five-head rebar bending machine is a significant innovation in the field of steel bar processing, offering enhanced efficiency and precision. Here are the key precautions to ensure safe and effective operation:

Pre-Operation Checks

  1. Mechanical Performance:
    • Verify that the machine is in good working condition.
    • Ensure the console and workbench are level.
    • Prepare all necessary mandrel production tools in advance.
  2. Spindle and Accessories:
    • Install the spindle, die-pressed shaft, iron shaft, or variable frame according to the steel bar diameter.
    • The spindle diameter should be 2.5 times the diameter of the steel bar.
  3. Component Inspection:
    • Regularly inspect the mandrel, block, and turntable for any damage or cracks.
    • Ensure the protective cover is securely locked.
    • Confirm the empty machine rotor is functioning correctly before starting operations.

During Operation

  1. Proper Positioning:
    • Insert one end of the bending bar into the fixed space on the turntable.
    • Ensure the other end is close to the machine body and securely held by hand.
    • Check for any obstructions on the machine body that might impede the steel bar.
  2. Consistent Settings:
    • Do not disassemble or replace the mandrel during operation.
    • Avoid changing the angle or speed settings.
    • Refrain from oiling or cleaning the machine while it is running.
  3. Steel Bar Specifications:
    • Follow the specified diameter, number of steel bars, and technical requirements for the machine.
    • For high-hardness or low-alloy steel bars, adjust the maximum limit diameter according to the machine nameplate and replace the corresponding mandrel if necessary.
  4. Safety Measures:
    • Do not bend steel bars that exceed the working radius.
    • Ensure individuals without a fixed side stay clear of the machine.
    • Place bent semi-finished products in a safe location, avoiding direct viewing of the bending hook.
  5. Smooth Operation:
    • Reverse the turntable only after it has come to a complete and smooth stop.

Post-Operation

  1. Shutdown and Maintenance:
    • After completing the work, perform any necessary repairs on the machine.
    • Cut off the power supply and lock the power box to ensure safety.

By adhering to these precautions, you can ensure the five-head rebar bending machine operates safely and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of productivity and quality in steel bar processing.
